2016 Central Indiana Merit Badge University

Here is an update and some pictures from some of our younger scouts who attended the Central Indiana MBU this weekend in Greenfield, IN. MBU is an opportunity for scouts to pursue and complete merit badges by completing the specified pre-requisites in time for class. The class sessions cover the rest of the hands-on material. Greenfield Central Junior High School has impressive facilities and provided meals and bus transportation to off-site facilities for some of the classes like Cooking. Troop 604 had scouts pursuing Cooking, Landscape Architecture, Rifle, Plumbing, and more. The counselors were personable and thorough and made it a great experience for the boys.

We set up our wall tent for our scouts and their parents to camp in outside. We hope scouts will be interested in the next event that will be held in November. Congratulations to the boys who worked hard before, and during the merit badge weekend.
